How would you like you mind?

Mine right now is pretty much fried. lots going on up there.

Over Thanksgiving break I had to re-read 15 chapters of my biology book (which by the way, I still have to finish) and then I had to prepare for a calculus test (that I got 58% on) then more school stuff, then i have just realized that right around lunch time, i'm beat and no longer totally able to focus in school. And last of all, due to some bitter sweet new which for some reason I can't stop thinking about (just for piece of mind no one died), but I feel like my world is kind of out of whack right now.

Luckily, my brother took me up to Brighton and snowboarding is definitely a fantastic escape from being trapped inside due to...oh I just looked out side and it's not looking much like winter. Which now makes me feel like school should be ending sooner. But it was a good day of snowboarding. A good snowboarding day consists of nice powder, good company, going super fast, and a good crash. Mine involved smashing my head after failing to land a lip that threw me on my back, but I now have something to laugh about. After I took the ACT I went up to Sundance, but the snow was very VERY different. It was very crappy snow, and I didn't do very good, but it was still fun.

But now it is the break of Christmas, and I am super excited. Unfortunately, my last day of school didn't end so well. I have once again 12 chapters of Biology to re-read, 5 essays to write, and a take home test. and that is Biology alone. Then I got a 55% on my Calculus test. I'm not doing so hot in my hard classes. Also, last night I WAS going to go to the MV/Orem Combined Choir Concert, but alas, I was stupid and forgot, and in my defense I didn't have a car either, So I apologize to all of you who were performing , I bet you all did awesome. On the bright side, I got an A- in my UVU class, AND I passed the Final with an 88%. whew. My UVU class for next semester is Theater 1023, OR as the class is called Intro to Film. That is going to be super awesome. So that is pretty much what I have been up to.

Halloween and Sadies

So this weekend was pretty much amazing.

First off. Friday. During school there was a show during lunch at Mountain View. We had some friends in the Ariosa Choir there and they were doing a little show, and we decided to go over and see what we could. It was very good! and definitely worth the trip.

Then after school, Sam and I went to Macey's and Winco and got a whole bunch of junk food. You'd be surprised at how cheap it was. it was pretty cool stuff. Then we watched some Monk and Iron Man 2.

Saturday was a pretty busy day. from 9-12 I was at an ACT prep course which, needless to say, isn't very exciting. After that I was preparing to fall asleep and watch Star Trek, when I was asked to take my brother to our cousin's house. After I got there some friends called and I hung out with them until Sadies.

Sadies was awesome! I went with Tiffany Owens (Who is a pretty cool girl by the way) and it was tons of fun. We went to Brick Oven for dinner, went Trick-or-Treating in her neighborhood, then went to the dance. It was a ton of fun.

After the dance we went to get some dessert and after 3 tries of going to places that were closed we went to McDonalds. There we met a super creepy guy who thought we were part of a cult and wanted to know if anyone lost their virginity at the dance. We just grabbed our ice cream and left because he was super super super super creepy. But it makes for a funny story to tell.

And tonight we get to have our super awesome Black Light Halloween dinner that my mom does so amazingly well. There will be Pictures in a future post of Sadies pictures and his fancy dinner.

Blog Hype: DEAD!

So for the first 3 days I had my blog, I was super excited about it. I don't know why, but I really was. Now, however long later, I have no idea what to post about and it's running dry, but it's still fun to have this so here is a for real post.

So over the weekend, Mi Madre y Padre were out of town and my brother and I were home alone. I took him over to my cousin's house pretty early in the day leaving me to my own devices. we had our big Mountain View VS. Orem football game, so i went. I showed up at that game in high hopes. Cheered for my team, showed school spirit, having a good time. Until the half. Up until the half MV only had 2 touchdowns or so. no big deal. we can come back. By the middle of the third period, I was pretty much bummed out and ready to quit, which in turn bummed out the Bruins, who apparently want to see us still fight, but that lack of cheering disappointed them for some reason. By the 4th quarter we had our new cheer going "I do believe in Tigers. I do. I do." unfortunately, it did no good and the final score was 33-0. eek. Not a lot of fun. So in order to cheer ourselves up, a couple of friends and I went over to Iceburg to get us some milkshakes and free french fries! That pretty much restored my mood. So, Friday night, had it's Ups and Downs.

Saturday, I woke up to my alarm telling me to go to my ACT prep class at BYU. That was blech. It's only been 2 weeks and I can already tell it's not the most entertaining Saturday morning activity. In an attempt to make it better, I got myself an Ernie's champ sandwich which can pretty much make any bad experience great! So, that was good. After my ACT class, I walked out only to find it raining. So i quickly got to my car and went home. Then my older brother Adam came over and we watched a disc of The Simpsons for 2-3 hours, with some periodic sleeping through some episodes. Finally we decided to go see Despicable Me. It was my 2nd time seeing it and I enjoyed it fairly well, as nasty as the Dollar theater is, but you get what you pay for...After that I went to some stake dances and partied it up. I came home, finished "the Crucible," and went to bed watching a movie. Sunday was pretty relaxing, until I realized I hadn't done my Calculus homework. oops. Then Sam South called saying he needed to finish his calculus also, so I arrived at his home 6 o clock this morning and we got it done.

Now, I am here posting on my blog when I should be studying for my AP Biology test which is happening tomorrow. Let's hope it all goes well.

and in tribute to the movie I fell asleep watching Last night:

"I do have a test today. That wasn't a lie. It's on European socialism. I don't care. I'm not European. I don't plan on being European. So who gives a crap is they're soacialists. They could fascist anarchists and it still wouldn't change the fact I don't own a car."-Ferris Beuller.

2 posts on my first day.

So, Just so I can get a head start on my NEXT post here is what I would like to do:

If there is anything you would like to know about me, ask it as a comment, and I will answer it in my next post.

Warning: Nothing that will offend others, nothing that puts others above another, nothing inappropriate (Joshua Pasquale: this is for you), and don't ask stupid questions, because despite what your teachers tell you, they do exist.

Just ask any question you would like to know about me in the comments, and it will be answered in my next post.

Best? or Worst?

So, today out of sheer boredom I have created this Epic EPIC blog. In said blog, you will encounter random thoughts of the day, deep thoughts of the day, or maybe just whatever is going on in life, If I feel like posting something, it will be posted.

Furthermore I spent about 2-3 hours coming up with a really clever title just for this blog. 2-3 HOURS! That is how seriously I take this thing. A special thanks to Liz, Caroline, Margaret, Joshua, Tressa, Haley, and Josh, all of your ideas led to this final title of epicness.

I created this blog to plant the seed of my opinions in each and every one of you. Each new post is the water and sunlight. And slowly your minds will take part in reading every word, every story, and every random thing that pops into my head. Take pride in the reading of each of these posts. Maybe one day, this will be the classic literature your children will read in their English Honors class. These posts will need some serious proofreading and your children will get some SERIOUS, serious practice. Like really good practice.

As a warning, I may not be using much discretion in my posts. I will try, but I cannot make any guarantees. It may be some what inappropriate...not really, but it may come up. IN CONCLUSION: Viewer Discretion is Advised. Because the writer may not be as discreet as he should be.

Here is an example of the kind of stuff you will see:
Today in my communications class, I was really bored and attempted to finger whistle. Kim, who was sitting next to me, saw me do it and tried it too. She put her fingers in her mouth and let out a nice loud whistle, and in the process scared herself with the noise. I pretty much laughed until I cried. It was pretty funny. You probably just had to see it (because even the kids who were there weren't laughing)

So there is a small bit of a post you might see. If I feel like posting a random story, quote, idea, music video, or video, just read it/watch it (with discretion) And I think I will end each post with a funny quote to leave it on a good note. Please post comments on how I might improve my Blog for future posts.

So here is a funny story for today's post which I would like to share with all of you:

My sister was listening to Glee with my mom. She started talking about a character named "Quinn" My sister said
"I love the name Quinn"
To which my Brother-in-law, opposed.
Scott: "I don't want to give my daughter a boys name!"
Romney: "If we give her a boys name, we can give her a really girl-y middle name. Like Elizabeth. Quinn Elizabeth."
It was totally unintentional but still stinking funny!

For future posts, I will take note of funny happenings during the day/week/weekend/month and post them. Hopefully you find them humorous too.

So, this is the dawn of a new age. My blog is now official. I am now realizing HOLY CRAP! WHAT AM I GOING TO POST IN THE FUTURE!? well...we will find out soon enough won't we? I hope you enjoy it. because this was the best of Tim, it was the worst of Tim.

Tim(e) Out!

From Stranger Than Fiction:

Dr. Hilbert: Hell Harold, you could just eat nothing but pancakes if you wanted.
Harold Crick: What is wrong with you!? Hey, I don't want to eat nothing but pancakes, I want to live! I mean, who in their right mind in a choice between pancakes and living, chooses pancakes?
Dr. Hilbert: Harold, if you pause to think, you'd realize that that answer is inextricably contingent upon the type of life being led... and, of course, the quality of the pancakes.
