This last week I went to my final year of EFY at BYU. and I have to say it was absolutely amazing.
Monday I met my group and I have to say each and everyone of them made the week 1,000,000,000 times better! Our male counselor decided that for EFY he would jump on the Star Wars fan boat and so we were his padawans all week long. He walked around with a lightsaber and it was super funny and cool.
We started the week off with a fireside on being benevolent. The Session director Brother Martin, asked us to talk about a story from President Monson about being benevolent. When he asked for a volunteer to come up and share, a whole group of kids got super excited and started pointing to this one boy. So, this kid gets called up and Brother Martin asks his name. And the kid's answer: "Paul Monson" It was Pres. Monson's Grandson! I was pretty shocked, but it was pretty sweet. After that we had some home evening games and set some goals.
Tuesday we started the day bright and early with a devotional, went up to the Wilkinson Center and had a morningside, which was followed by classes, and I had the great opportunity of getting a lesson from the awesome Brother Butler who teaches at Lehi High School Seminary. He was hilarious and by the last rotation of classes it was pretty much a battle to get into his class. he was phenomenal! Then we ended the day with a super awesome dance where I danced with some super beautiful daughters of God. It was great.
Wednesday was very similar to Tuesday. Devo, Morningside, Classes, etc. But instead of a dance we got a super rainy games night! It was highly enjoyable. It was full of awesome cheers and rain dances and imaginary roller coaster rides. But the best part of the evening, PIZZA NIGHT. oh yeah! That was great. Nothing like a bunch of guys trying to out eat each other and hanging out.
Thursday was super spiritual, and since this is an open blog, i am going to be on the skimpy side of details and it was highly spiritual and I don't think much of these experiences are to be shared. But I felt the Holy Ghost greatly and had an increased testimony.
Friday was a sad day. We had some For the Strength of Youth activities, and a service project and another dance, but it was time to say goodbye. We got pictures and stuff and all of the boys were knighted to Jedi Knights by the presenting of a sticker and a knighting ceremony. It was a sad evening, but it was definitely an awesome week.
Thanks to all my new friends. I thank you for your testimonies and fun times we spent together! To the beautiful daughters of God I met this week and my fellow Jedi Knights, I thank you for an amazing week!

My name is Tim. One day out of sheer boredom a baby was born. Not a physical human baby, but the baby of my thoughts. and that baby...is my blog. Now, about me. I am a freshman at Brigham Young University, 18 years old, and loving it, whilst also working 2 or 3 times a week as a lifeguard back home in Orem. Exciting, huh?

7 months later...
So being so passionate about my blog I bet you are super excited that I actually have a post! (What! No way Tim! That's so cool!)
This'll be quick but it's a post nonetheless and we'll hope I can keep up.
This summer has been great so far. I got my first job as a Lifeguard at the scera pools. We went to new york city as a family which was awesome (For more details, go see my mom's blog Cathyg-footnotes.blogspot.com she is doing an incredible job documenting it and I couldn't do anything as good so go check it out! Start at day one and work your way through. :) ) And I just finished a wonderful final year of EFY at BYU.
I will document my time at EFY in another post tomorrow, and try and make it inspirational and entertaining for all of you.
Until next Tim(e)
